Acting on the principles of knowledge, creativity and the use of new technologies, Ivana’s house of fairy tales presents the fairy tales by the most important Croatian fairy tale writer, Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, born in Ogulin in 1874, as well as fairy tales by many other Croatian and world authors.
Located in the ancient Frankopan castle, it consists of a permanent multimedia exhibition, a library, and a multifunctional space for workshops and souvenir shops. It is also active through its website with a virtual database of fairy tales and an online library. It is developing its own publishing business, and throughout the year it organises creative educational programmes for children and adults. It is one of the most visited cultural and tourist attractions in Croatia.
